On April 20, at around 02:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the village of Khoznavar in the Syunik region of Armenia, as a result of which a solar water heater installed on the roof of one of the residential buildings was damaged, the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense reports.

According to the information, there are no casualties.

“We call on the Azerbaijani side to investigate the fact of shelling of a residential building in Khoznavar and to provide public explanations.

We remind you that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to create a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or information about them. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to this proposal,” the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
