On January 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh issued a statement in connection with another gross violation of the ceasefire by Azerbaijan. As reported by the press service of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry, the statement reads:
“Today, January 10, the Azerbaijani side once again grossly violated the ceasefire by shelling civilians and civilian objects in the communities of Krasny Bazar, Tagavard, Martuni region and Nakhchivanik, Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh.
Such actions are a manifestation of the anti-Armenian and Nazi policies pursued in Azerbaijan at the state level, which serves as yet another proof that the “peace-loving” statements of the Azerbaijani authorities have nothing to do with the real terrorist and expansionist goals that this country pursues in relation to Artsakh , Armenian people and region.
Azerbaijan’s aggressive behavior since the end of hostilities is a gross violation of the agreements reached, the norms of international law, the principles of humanity and is aimed at intimidating the society of the Republic of Artsakh, as well as disrupting the activities of the Russian peacekeeping mission.
We consider it necessary to emphasize once again that by such actions Azerbaijan will not be able to shake the determination of the Artsakh people to live and create in Artsakh, for whom any status within Azerbaijan is categorically unacceptable.
We will continue to develop and strengthen our Motherland. ”
